Ryan N. Dennis

Ryan N. Dennis is Co-Director and Chief Curator of Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. Her practice is rooted in the belief that art has the power to transform spaces and lives through its ability to connect deeply with histories, communities, and cultural memory. Through that lens, she works to ensure that BIPOC artists and their communities are heard and valued. Ryan is married to Jawwaad Taylor, and they have two children. Her personal experience and passion for strengthening families living with chronic illnesses help ensure that the Foundation's efforts are aligned with the real needs of those the Foundation aims to serve.
